Wow! Has nobody had a drink since September?

Last night - Chopin Polish potato vodka. Drunk neat and chilled. Fiery but smooth. It's 40% abv but you'd think it was higher from the alcohol burn. I'd never had it before but a bottle was gifted by a Polish colleague. Really enjoyed it.

Tonight - Saison beer from our local Belgian microbrewery. Proper yeasty, strong Belgian style beer. I like it a lot.

Went to Poland a couple of years ago ( Poznan).anyway I asked a polish guy we got to know out there what Vodka he drinks. He mentioned Chopin and said it is very nice and very good. There are a few varieties. Anyway I bought a bottle back for my daughter who was going to a party the following week. The guy is Polish, wife is English. He was over the moon when she gave him the bottle of Chopin vodka.
