What a way to end the season!

Stableford competition today.

To keep it brief, I played the best round of my life today. Great front 9, pretty good back 9.

For someone who has just fairly recently broken 100, you can imagine my shock and pride when I learn't I'd rounded in 92 gross for 40 points! Overjoyed is not the word. I decided not to bore you with the hole by hole and stroke by stroke details. But just had to post my delight at which I hope is now the turning point of my game.

Topping the leader board so far, could well be in for a prize! Main thing is, should get cut....... at last. Typical though isn't it, comes right at the end of the season!

Absolutely buzzing guys. Isn't this game fantastic?

Well done Basher, youve just got to keep it going now.

I too have waited until the end of the season before finding any form, then qualified in our last 2 comps for the finals - the first of which is tomorrow, so hope my form continues!

Well done Basher, great shooting, must be the day for it.

Had 40 points as well today, shooting 76 which really should have been much better after i managed to miss 3 very short putts, but really happy with how i was hitting the ball so not going to worry too much about the missed putts.

Well done especially holding it together at the end. I've been stuck indoors with a pretty rotten cold and so have really missed my weekend fix especially the monthly stableford today. Hope you can hold on and win it
