I bet we'd all love to have Westwood's shortgame, true it doesn't measure up to the likes of Woods and Mickleson but generally shortgame shortcomings only get highlighted in majors when you are trying to save par and don't, the greats like Woods and Ballesteros always seemed to be able just to pull a great recovery shot out of the bag when needed. Westwood like Montgomery and Garcia in his prime IMHO suffers from non positive putting when in good positions, unlike when they putt at the Ryder Cups when all 3 of them have been superb they tend to trickle putts towards the holes rather than have a go at them hence they miss chances in stroke play comps. Didn't they say Nicklaus was poor from 60 yards in and I can remember Alliss having a go at Faldo's chipping one year when he won the Masters
