Well after deliberating on whether or not to play this morning or just do some chipping and putting practice i ended up hiring a buggy and playing the full 18.....
As its contributing a few bob towards the club also i entered our qualifying competition.....

The tee's were back and the course was playing a little longer than our normal whites but the sky was empty of clouds and the sun was high and i was just out to enjoy myself....

At 7 euro's the entry didnt break the bank and even i knew that i had no hope of qualifying as i was against it playing in my boot.....

I came off 18 very tired but delighted that i made the choice to play and finished with 29 points all with a leg like Robocop :):):).....

Well played mate, how much pain tomorrow ? Apart from the energy levels , what else did you think you had lost during the time off ? Well done on the pts though mate.

I kept my expectations low Midnight.....I knew with the boot on that i wouldnt be able to get my weight over onto my left side properly and the boot has a sole of roughly 3 inch's thick which feels like your constantly stood on a step with one leg.

If i had 29 without the injury it wouldnt have went down well but all in all pleased with the outcome.

Most of my shots were cuts and i had to take as much as 2 extra clubs because i couldnt swing fast enough but it felt good to get out.

Voltarol got me to the tee for eth afternoon round at Woburn - amazing stuff, works wonders for a bad back.
I am told by extremely respected Edinburgh surgeon that it works even better along with red Wine

God knows what your ability to drive a car afterwards i dont know however
