Nowt like a giant killing, and it wasn't even a snatch and run as Celtic played really well without some first team players.

Barcelona did too but their subs bench could walk into most PL teams

A simply ludicrous result.

The team from the so called Pub League humble the Giants from Spain 2 - 1.

2-1 I said.

Yes that's right 2-1.

Armageddon indeed.

One of the easiest 3 points I've seen.

Big Victor's stock must be £40m after that performance......hard to single one guy out but he was immense as was Engerands Number 1.

Re: A simply ludicrous result.

Amazing performance,the atmosphere was incredible.
Yes they rode their luck, but it gives everyone a lift.
Barcelone are not invincible.
Well done Neil lennon too.

Re: A simply ludicrous result.

I am a football fan first and foremost and will always support a British club in Europe but that has to be one of the biggest CL results for a good few years. Must give Celtic a chance to get through now

Re: A simply ludicrous result.

I had my doubts over Lenny but he is maturing into a top top gaffer.

Nights like tonight make you proud to be a Tim and all that with a fair injury list.I never felt under pressure unlike the away match.

And the display from the Green Brigade pre match had the hairs standing up on my neck!

Hail Hail!!!!

Fantastic result

All the more impressive by the sheer gulf between both teams in money, resources and players but Celtic seem to have a fantastic team spirit when they are the underdogs

Re: A simply ludicrous result.

What a result - very proud of Lenny and the team.

It had a familiar feel to it, especially when the players came out. Another addition to the list of Scalps in the Champion league.

John Collins just made a great point about Neil Lennon too, how many other Managers would replace a right back with an 18 year old striker when 1-0 up?

Brave decision and it paid off for him.

Catch yourself on, Barcelona never turned up.

Great result but there is still a lot of work to be done if they want their hands on the trophy..

Johan Cruyff, Ronaldinho, Hristo Stoichkov, King Juan Carlos I, can you hear me ? your boys took a hell of a beating! your boys took a hell of a beating!
