Weighted (gravity) blankets

My neice got one for Xmas...weighs a bloody ton.
Not sure I'd be able to breath under it...
I'll let you know when I hear from her..assuming she survives the night.

Autistic son has one on his bed, the extra weight calms him and helps him sleep but as said by imurg it weighs an absolute ton. I think I would feel a bit trapped if I had it on our bed!

We have one and it's awesome. i am not sure if you get the benefits they claim, but you get a decent night's kip with it! We have it as well as our light tog duvet. on hot nights, the weighted blanket does get kicked off.

They are crazy heavy!! We have a Mela, i think a 7kg one (although it feels heavier). We don't use it correctly though, we only have one blanket. they are supposed to be used individually, also we ordered a king for our standard double bed, and its actually smaller than the bed, but works just! get the dimensions and you will see what i mean.

i was thinking of getting one for Mrs D as its supposed to help with fibromyalgia

I would imagine would be great for that! My wife suffers with anxiety, now I am not saying the blanket has sorted, however she has been very good for quite some time.

One of my Grandsons has Autism and a weighted blanket helps him the same way.
