Ford killed Jaguar. It was an iconic brand and many people aspired to own a Jag, until it just became a nice Ford Mondeo in the 2000’s. I don’t think they have produced a desirable car that grabs people’s attention for over 20 years.
Right now, Jaguar probably only appeals to people aged 55+ because they remember the status the brand had in the 60s, 70s, 80s. I understand the need for a rebrand!

Dreadful advert and rebrand, a classic Emperors New Clothes. If you say "it's cobblers" you'll get called a bigot.

Harry Metcalfe from Harry's Garage says he's seen the new car and it's meant to be very impressive.
I don't like the new logo but this advert was designed to shock and create more brand awareness to a younger market. Probably the last roll of the dice as they were in big trouble anyway.
