Afternoon all

We are introducing a new feature in GM that will celebrate the achievements of ordinary golfers and are looking for people who are happy to tell their story and have their picture in the magazine

The achievement could be....
Cutting your handicap in half in one season
Beating a much lower handicap golfer in a knockout match
Getting down to single figures after years of trying
Winning your club championship
Overcoming illness or injury to get back on the course
Posting your lowest ever round
Beating your dad (or the person who got you into the game) for the first time
Shooting a great score after a making a disastrous start to a round
Staging an epic comeback in a match
Making the scratch team
Making a hole in one at a par 4

In short, anything noteworthy

So, if you or equally anyone you know, has a story that other readers can be learn from, or be inspired by, then we want to hear about it

Please mail me direct michael_harris@ipcmedia.com if you're interested in being included in this feature

Thanks
Mike

It has taken me 4 years to get from 24HC to Cat 1

Went from 11 to 5 last year.
