I walked in today during rain for the first time in years. It was the lightning that sent me in, not the water.

Being tall and 'weirdly proportioned' I have never bought a waterproof suit. The Galvin Green leg lengths don't meet my ankles! I would have to pile on the pounds to get the 36" length I require. I just try not to play when it's going to pee down

I'll only walk in for lightening. I have good quality FJ waterproofs and can still swing easily in them so whats not to enjoy. An empty course, balls holding and a nice coolness (at this time of year)

Haha. I got abuse on Saturday as I had waterproofs over my shorts as the rain was supposed to be horrific.

I've got GG waterproof jacket, ideal when cold and wet but too warm for my liking in the Summer rain. She who must be obeyed got me an early birthday present of a Ping short sleeve waterproof windcheater type thing.

I've never walked in - not to say I wouldn't but unless lightning is coming then I'll do all I can to stay out there. As long as I've got a change of clothes in the car then a quick shower and change will suffice nomatter how much rain there is.
