After 2 holes today my feet were soaking wet and it felt like I was standing in buckets of water so Ive decided that I need a pair of fully waterproof golf shoes.

Can anybody recommend me a good comfortable pair of fully waterproof shoes?

RIP my FJ Sports!

I've got a pair of Nike shoes from sportdirect for £40 in store. Superbly dry from the ground up but in monsoon condtions on Thursday night found out they are no dry from the sky down. Mind you a pair of wellies would have been full in 4 holes it was that bad!! Generally they are brilliant and I love them as they are so comfortable.

I think people are mssing the trick here as you may be able to get waterproof shoes but as soon as you start going in the rough then the water will seep over the ankles etc. plus if the so called waterproof shoes don't have a sewn in tongue then the water will always get in.

So the solution you are all missing is to invest in a pair of sealskinz waterproof socks at £25 and never have wet feet again regardless of what shoe you put on your feet. I had mine on yesterday for a day in really poor wind and rain and feet were toasty warm and dry all day while the shoes were absolutely sodden.

I have these ones http://www.gooutdoors.co.uk/sealskinz-mens-mid-thermal-sock-p130667

What yerman said.

I have eleven pairs of shoes, all makes (except puma) and trench foot. Waterproof shoes do not exist in my view.

I've got a pair of Nike shoes (don't know which model) as well and they have been great so far - not a drop of water in and have played in fairly heavy rain a couple of times. Only downside is that I bought them in Australia at about double the price they are available for in the UK.
