Has anyone found a shoe that’s truly waterproof?

I’ve tried Footjoys and Skechers but both have left my toes wet (ie not from the top) despite a 12 month guarantee!

I have had the same problem Nike and adidas are the worst IMO. Footjoy I’ve found are probably the best but I’ve started to wear the Columbia trail shoes so far there brilliant but I’ve only been using them a few months.

@Arthur Wedge has touched on this already. Buy the shoes you like, want and are comfy. Get them to be nominally waterproof. Then buy some Sealskinz waterproof socks.

I appreciate that is not entirely the answer that you may want but it brings to an end your quest for the truly waterproof shoe. It is a quest full of expense and disappointment. Buy the socks 😄

Not sure there are any truly waterproof shoes as water can come in through eyelets or over the top in long rough. I think a pair of waterproof sealzskin socks are a cheaper and longer term solution

another thumbs up for Ecco, in winter I play in Asics Gortex walking shoes,
also try goretex socks, work a treat and keep your feet nice and warm.

Another vote for Ecco. I have just replaced my eight year old pair as they were beginning to look worse for wear with a pair of Biom C4s. The Gore-Tex lining is like a sock and seals the shoe completely. Expensive, I know, but worth every penny.

Ecco S Three's for me. I have 3 pairs, all Gortex and without doubt my most comfortable golf shoes.
I also have 3 pairs of Ecco Biom's, 1 of which is also Goretex.
All are soft spikes, and grip like crazy on the ground. Of course weight having momentum may have something to do with it;)

Conversely, I've had 3 pairs of the H4 spikeless and they've all split after about 15 months....perfect up until then...
Probably the shape of my feet.
Finding the UA Hovr spikeless quite good at the moment.

If it gets really wet and you are in long grass or water is running off waterproof trousers then no shoes are totally waterproof.
