Have the opposite at ours coming up lol, Ive put a motion forward and one of the other committee members is ensuring that "the other side" has plenty of voters, even to the point of having clarified if proxy voting is allowed at our agm and getting several proxy votes!

Ive asked for the way our club champs tee times are allocated be changed from elitist (ie best out first) to drawn (as per every other comp we play) but know I have no hope of winning. Seemed a good year to try as they are merging mens and womens club champs into the same weekend this year ubt didnt realise how much opposition from certain quarters there would be

I think club champs should have the better players together. They've earned the right IMO.

Ours is supposed to be a draw, but year after year, all the team players get "drawn" together.
Doesn't seem the most earth shattering request and surely doesn't deserve such a heavy handed attitude
