Tis true that you get closer to a Dog than you do most of your family, or any pet for that matter.
We've got a 5yr old German Pointer, and he's a beauty, and absolutely daft as a brush. I work from home so we are pretty much joined at the hip, and he hates being left at all, which is the only main downside of dog ownership !
Kids are 18 & 15 and pretty independent, and now we have a 3rd child in a dog !

For those that want to see him......

Chris - we almost got a GSP, still considering it now in fact. The other half wants a GSP or Viszla, I'm trying to persuade her to go for something smaller, ( I want a Border !! ) GSP's are great dogs, Ziggy looks like a cracker.

If I can work out how to add a picture, I'll post one of my lunatic lodger that disguises himself as a dog.

Not strictly golf related so didn't want to put it in the wanted/for sale section.

I lost my GSD in Feb this year and I have felt like I have lost a limb or something ever since.
I still miss her but feel that the time is right now for another pup.
Does anyone know any reputable breeders that either have a litter or one due.
Has to be German Sheperd though

Losing a dog is tough. I know. Been through it twice. ''Man's best friend''? Yes. Accept my condolences. Time heals, mate.
