Right guys need your help. I've got 100 free course downloads for my Shotmiser G500. Obviously I'll be getting a fair few courses from Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex & Cambridgeshire but I'm guessing I'll have a fair few downloads left. I have to use them or lose them all by December 2011. As a result I've thought about constructing a visit list of places I'd like to go and play within the next 5/6 years. Many of the GM Top 100 courses are too pricey for my wallet so...

Which course near would you suggest I play and why?

Be warned this may mean I make an appearance in your neck of the woods in the not too distant future! :D

Well if you are coming to the Midlands I would go for Beau Desert, Astbury Hall and any of the Courses at The Belfry (even the derby in case you get a package deal)

Down in Kent, I would say Chart Hills (play off the whites though otherwise you rule out half of the 'fun') is the one I normally recommend playing apart from the obvious ones on the Coast (Princes, Sandwich, Cinque Ports etc). They do some reasonable deals if you keep your eyes out as well. If it was 30 minutes closer to London you would be paying £100+ a round, but you can get on for around £30 if your lucky.

Havent played that many courses in GB&I (37 to be precise) but I can recommend two courses for a small wallet

Porthmadog in Wales (8 parkland holes, 10 true links holes), affordable prices
Knighton Heath in Dorset (heathland), nice course in superb condition for 30 quids

A few nice courses in the Isle of Man if you fancy a weekend away with Castletown being the best of the bunch, the final 3 holes are worth the trip alone

Woodhall Spa!

It's pricey, but it's a course you simply HAVE to play!

Let me know if/when you plan on going and I'll try and make it back to Woodhall for the weekend to give you a game.

Come accros the water and play some fabulous links course in Donegal, there are an abundance of great courses all within an hour or so.

Next year it will be Portsalon,Rosapenna ,hopefully Royal Aberdeen and Nairn as well as the ususal i play, Portstewart,Castlerock ,Royal Portrush and Ballycastle.
Forgot to add The Jubilee at St Andrews

carden park in cheshire, its got 2 very good courses. there is the cheshire course and the nicklaus course. its a really nice place, id recommend doing a overnight stay there and playing both courses.

If you get to leeds you will need a few prime tracks here are a few of the best Rhounday, Temple Newsam, middleton, and gotts park. ;)

If you make it here you might as well make a trip and get up to Forest Pines (nice enough hotel too)

Also recommend Ganton, Nefyn, Conwy and North Wales.
