Virtual Golf

Am thinking of buying a Nintendo Wii (got too much time on my hands) but just discovered that they don't have any golf games – big problem as thought that would be so cool.

Anyone know any wicked golf games for any consoles? I have got a few old Playstation games but need a serious update - especially with the weather like this!

On the current consoles, the only real option is Tiger Woods golf which is not bad on the Xbox 360 and Wii.

If you have a reasonable spec on your PC or have a PS2 then Realworld golf comes with a club to swing as opposed to using keyboard and mouse.

The Wii is great but the Golf sim on Wii Sports is pretty poor. This is a shame because the tennis and bowling are great. In the golf sim you are supposed to swing the controller like a club but in reality that doesn't work.

Get a golf game for the PC but buy a Wii for all your non-golf gaming. It rocks!

They do the Tiger Woods PGA Tour on the Wii too. Saw it advertised on TV

Buy Tiger Woods for the PC, and join www.clambakers.org Its a brilliant well run virtual golf tournament which shadows the main US PGA tour, plus the Majors.

Or if you have XBox live then there are daily online tournaments on Tiger Woods.

The latest version of Tiger Woods is out in a couple of months so would also expect that you can pick a copy up for less than half price now.
