Victor Dub. Loses the plot big time !

He reminds me of Jason Dufner. People think they are characters, but infact they are just surly with a big temper bubbling under the surface. Not a fan of either.

I am reading Christina Kim's "Swinging from my heels" at the moment and she wrote that she was fined by the LPGA (don't remember the sum) for using the f-word in an interview. It was not at a tournament, nor was the word spoken in anger or as an insult to anyone, it just slipped out. The LPGA stated that the players are role-models and therefore do have to show decent behaviour in public. I would think something similar applies to the players of the PGA as well. And for me an outburst like Dubuisson's is a much bigger breech of the role-model idea than swearing.

And what of the networks? The version i saw the network actually had to cut out from live golf to show the incident. So what is their role in this? They had the choice whether to show it or not and let's be honest....some people like watching a 'car crash' on tv. Its all part of the spectacle!

What's interesting is that there is no mention of his outburst anywhere in the media. I only know about it because I saw it on twitter. As you mentioned, it was obviously cut from the tv stream and no online magazine has made any mention of it. I'm not saying they should. It probably is better if it is ignored. I just think it is odd and where this incident differs from Rory's club helicoptered into the water last year (which was reported in pretty much every online golf magazine I follow) or Garcia's flying shoe which is still in people's memory 17 years (!) after the fact. It really looks like the PGA stepped in here and censored it.

Im guessing there is no mention of it because it's not a big deal - it's not worthy of too many mention, the same with Hulls outburst or Lowrys outburst the other week. It's all insignificant news.
