Yes...good idea...I have emailed them and see what response I get. I'll post back my findings here......on the cliff edge of buying another bulk order but really struggling with the fading colour........
22 holes old...over two days in a row....I have old Bridgestones and Srixon AD333 tours that still look far better after at least 4 rounds.

The real question though, is. Do you think they still perform? If a pro v went a funny colour, but a Dunlop stayed pearly white. Which would you use if you could get them For free?

For me, believing it performs is more important than it being pristine.

I agree with this, unless they're SO faded that it actually makes them harder to see/find.

Sorry had missed that. Does seem like a cop out.
dreadful cop out..I am fortunate enough to play at least twice a week and quite a few different courses over here and also in the UK. The Vice Pro plus ball is the ONLY one that discolours at an alarming rate. Whilst I agree that the feel doesn't really alter if it is discoloured, however, when you look down on your grubby little yellow faded ball that you have just cleaned it does not inspired confidence.

Hoping for a positive reply from Vice...........what you reckon?!

Try Snell. Tremendous, no discolouration and great performance. I beat the drum about these quite a lot. Need to put in another order soon myself.
@Jacko_G which snell ball do you play? I’ve got an order in for mtb x but it’s on hold for stock, just wondered if you’d played it

Why in the name of all that is holy are you bleaching balls. Studies have shown being underwater or even in the rough for a week or so has a large impact on the ball's properties and performance. So why would you put them in something that is designed to break down things at a molecular level
They were dirty, as has been mentioned they are not the best balls that keep a pristine colour, ave always cleaned balls in bleach and never ever had a problem. Yet only with the Vice. Most of the time it is washing up liquid. Washing up liquid breaks down dirt etc. Yet it is in ball cleaners at the course.

You being able to notice the difference is immaterial. The smallest nick, or scratch can affect ball flight, spin rates etc. Bleach can affect polymers at a molecular level, they could easily cause issues just from the bleach. The best you could hope for is that it weakens it and causes a stress raiser so scratches and nicks are easier to get.

Washing up liquid is essentially a spreading agent and doesn't affect things in the same way as bleach.

If your club is putting bleach in the ball washers then get them to stop

Would you put you golf balls in acid to clean them? Bleach is a strong base and can do as much damage

I was using the Red which has been replaced by the MTB X.

I'll probably order a trial dozen of Black and MTB X first prior to committing to one of them. Once I'm happy I'll order 6 dozen again.

Just played in a roll up swindle and one the lads gave me a Vice Pro to try out (even though I've got a dozen at home boxed I got months ago after a recommendation on here, never got round to using them)

Have to say as balls go I thought it was horrible, didn't particularly like the feel of it, didn't get usual distance, wasn't great around the greens chipping or putting and after 7 holes it start looking quite cream in colour. Stuck in bag in the bag after 9 holes and switched bag to the TP5x.

Have said to the lad that let me have it he can have my dozen I have at home in exchange for a glove from the shop and paying my comp entry fee this weekend.

Think I'll stick to the TP5s for now until I can try some Snell balls out as keep hearing good things about them.

Knifed into the clubhouse wall?? :ROFLMAO::whistle:

With a couple of regular shots, that's not good!

I know...I was shocked........I have played golf for over forty years and this has never happened to any ball I have used. I wrote to Vice only yesterday on the discolouration issues...however, this is catastrophic! I have sent them the picture of today's ball as well.
I await to hear from Vice with their solution and will post results here.......hopefully all positive.

That is poor assuming the ball didn't hit any trees, buildings etc. and shouldn't happen with two ordinary strikes. Will be interested to hear the Vice comeback
