V Easy = V Good

Chesster,

If you'd done you homework and enagaged brain before opening virtual mouth you'd realise Bob is one the forum good guys. Not only does he give a lot of top tips and hints away in his own time, is the inventor of a damn fine training, he's actually a decent chap too. Shall we forget your stroppy first post and start again?

When a dipstick who thinks Homer Simpson is a clever sobriquet tells me off, I am shaking. Are you really the Nobel Laureate of golf or the sad little cerebrally challenged self-important keytapper you sound?

I could care less....but it would be difficult.

Neither my frustrated little keyboard warrior. However as someone who has benefited from using the said V-Easy and having received some very good swing advice from Bob then I'm not happy to see some cranially challenged newbie slag it off. It is simple and it works. Having also seen what hoops Bob had to jump through to get it to market too I think if nothing else his entrepreneurial tenacity should be applauded. Tap on sunshine

What's a sobriquet?

It basically means you're a genius.

It comes from Pierre- Paul Riquet, the famous drunken Paris Canal builder.

Before he came along canals were designed to go wherever was convenient, but he was always so pissed he could only design them with a ruler, so they went in a straight line.

So when someone came along after him and did something clever, they were called a Sober Riquet, shortened to sobriquet.

It's a compliment.

Honest.

Either you're a genius or you waste too much time on google!

It's a posh word for "nickname" or "handle", or I'm guessing in t'interweb-speak "user-name".

I think the use of such an unnecessary word would have gained me an instant "F" in my university essays.:)
