US Open

Play has been suspended. Greens are underwater and were being squeegeed for every shot. :( No lift, clean and place though as the first players out didn't have that.

I just can't see how they're going to get this tournament played this weekend. It's forecast for rain for most of it and the course is literally underwater at the moment.
Would it be unprecedented if a Major Championship was cancelled completely because of weather?
No-one's mentioning anything like it at the moment, but it's the elephant in the room as far as I'm concerned.

Is there a minimum number of rounds/holes that it can be played over? ie. 54, 36 or even 18 holes?

I think this is a silly rule. They should have lift and clean. Just get everyone to play normally until the rule is enforced at where the first group stopped.
