I don't know why they bother with anything but the quarter-finals onwards. It's the same players every time, much like F1.

Great game. There was one rally in the first set that was so fast and lasted around 30 returns... awesome stuff. the court is so much faster than the grass of wimbledon!

Not sure your correct about the speed of the ball Slugger. Grass was always regarded the fastest court surface in tennis, and even this US Open is slower this year than a few years ago, well that was what Rusedski and Becker were saying.
Agree with the rest, Djokovic and Nadal are now some way ahead of Federer who is again some way in front of Murray.

Best tennis match I have ever seen was the Wimbledon final of Federer versus Roddick. I was there, and tennis does not get better than that.

they were just hammering each other and due to both having such a good defence they were struggling to hit winners which mean rallys were lasting quite a while longer.
have to agree it does seem the same 4 are reaching the semi finals in all the big events. Djokovic has only lost twice this year that is very impressive.

Murray beat Djokovic in the Cinninatti Open a few weeks back when the Serb retired 0-3 down in the second set after losing the the first set 6-3.
