Agreed. Most of the time I watch, the flags are blowing fully horizontal, and players are backing off shots more often than normal.

I suspect the trees can accelerate wind speeds through the course. There are a lot, but they are also well spaced, so not much shelter and just forcing the wind through.

And, those greens...... Players need to land the ball in such small areas. Even if I was good enough to know my yardage, a 1mph win could drastically change my ball flight and direction. But, as I'm not, it doesn't matter if the wind is nothing or 40mph, I'm still garbage

It’s not often you can actually hear the wind on the coverage, so I’m actually going to cut them some slack. It is a bit blowy.
