Unusual Scenario....

Anyone else ever come across what happened to me and my partners today ?

We all managed a 10 somewhere on our card today

It was our weekend medal and I took a 10 at the par 5 4th (1x OOB,1st provisional lost)
One chap took 10 on the 17th much to my amusement because he didnt lose a ball
The other fella stood on the 18th tee taking the p**s and promptly took 10 himself after holing a 20 footer

We walked off laughing away and decided to call ourselves the 'Three Tenors'

Even the pro came in the bar to say he hadnt ever come across such a thing before

Incidentaly I shot an 89 gross and was level par for the last 6 holes

Never heard of that before and its a shame as you were obviously doing ok prior to that. Always tough to come back from especially so late in a round.

I've gone through a lot of cards in my time marking comps and sorting results! believe me it's only unusual in a mens medal! in stableford they pick up and in womens and juniors it's unusual if you get a a comp where there isn't at least 1 group with 3 ten's ... or more!

PS: In fact I've checked cards where people would be chuffed with a 10 let alone a ten each!
