Tain, Beau Dessert, Longniddry and Manchester GC spring to mind for me.
Always and enjoyable round there. Prob going to rejoin next year.Tain is a great course played there 36 hole open in the summer and enjoyed it think its on the list to play again next year.
Stephen we played Rosses Point ,Donegal and Narin & Portnoo last year and had a cracking trip all the course were spot on Narin was my favourite. I did see that about a forum meet i think we;re coming over next October but not sure where a bouts yet as this year we did Waterville, Tralee, Dooks and Dingle Links, it might be back to Portstewart , Portrush area again unless the Euro picks up.
If you are doing the Portrush area again in October avoid the 11-13th as it the Great North Links dates, we played it last month and the quickest round was 5 hours 20
Would be great to get a game again when you next over and if you guys want to add Ballyliffin onto your trip give me a shout.
Royal Ashdown Forest. Picturesque heathland course and always in great nick when I've been there.
very much underrated Martin ,great views and some cracking holes
Some of the courses mentioned here don't seem underrated to me.
Both Southerness and Goswick are very highly rated by everyone I know who have played then. Also well respected by the likes of the R&A.
I suppose We can only judge whether a course is over/underrated via rankings.
