After finding the thread on overrated courses, what in your opinion doesn't get the recognition it deserves.

I can think of a few, Nairn Dunbar, Montrose Medal, Pollok, Kilspindie, Goswick, Brora etc.

What makes your list?

Enniscrone, it is in the video link posted by smange in the other thread. For some strange reason it isn't in the top 100 even though it is better than Muirfield.

I thoroughly enjoyed Seacroft when I played it, but rarely hear/read reviews of it

Market Rasen is definitely underated, Sherringham gets overshadowed by it's neighbours but is standout in it's own right and Chelmsford GC never gets a mention anywhere but is very good.

Agreed on Enniscrone, can't believe it not in top 50 never mind 100

Slightly biased here as a member but Ballyliffin Glashedy is a truly magnificent golf course and there are courses that I've played that continually rank higher than it, that in actual fact are not a patch on it.

Not played Enniscrone yet but only heard great words about it , Ballyliffin on the other hand I've played both numerous times and love them both it was always our Friday stop on our trip to Portrush and Portstewart, your a luck man being a member there Stephen.

This year we played Dooks down in Kerry a very playable and very friendly course i would say the friendliest club I've ever played at the course was a true hidden gem if anyone is touring down there id play it.

Can only speak locally really but Bradford GC (Hawksworth) is a really nice track that even locally gets missed, Knaresborough is another and got stick my home club Baildon in there too. Think Baildon tends to get missed because it's a moorland course and some feel it's too difficult which it can be but smacking your ball behind a tree on a parkland course tends to make your round more difficult too!

Enniscrone is a must play Steve. I know you guys try to come over most years and you won't go too far wrong heading down that direction what with Carne, Rosses Point, Strandhill and even Co Donegal on the way down or back up.

i mentioned it on the other thread but don't know if you seen it but we are hoping to get another Irish meet organised for next year and we planning on having it back at Ballyliffin and hopefully another of the fine links courses in this part of the world, would be great to have you over again and get a game.

Stephen we played Rosses Point ,Donegal and Narin & Portnoo last year and had a cracking trip all the course were spot on Narin was my favourite. I did see that about a forum meet i think we;re coming over next October but not sure where a bouts yet as this year we did Waterville, Tralee, Dooks and Dingle Links, it might be back to Portstewart , Portrush area again unless the Euro picks up.
