I have a Galvin Green one and it’s taken plenty of abuse including the trolley blowing over multiple times. If I needed a new one I would get the same again.

Most brollies now have very cheap graphite poles .
most of them are crap.
try find one with a steel shaft.
Hard to beat the feel of a classic steel pole, which will also have lower torque. Graphite is lighter though, in general offers more flexibility, and can be longer.
Its something you would need to go to a fitter for.

I’ve got an old Titliest one that has lasted me years, that’s said I rarely use it, unusual to have rain and no wind, and a huge brolly in the wind is useless.
So tends to stay in the garage and I deal with getting wet

I have seen loads of these graphite ones in the bins at my club.
Mainly Ping ones as the pro sells them.

Exactly the same as Albo, I’ve got an old Titliest one that i’ve had for years, I rarely use it, very rarely have rain and no wind where we are so it’s easier to just rely on waterproofs for both me and the bag/trolley.

I’ve had a few of the premium types as keep leaving them on trains! Blooming expensive habit!

motocaddy is the best one I’ve had as the window in the front allows you can get right inside it. Decent length for taller bloke too. My mate has had one for years and his is still going strong. Had mine two years and had it too close to my swing and broke a plastic bit off around the button but it still works fine.

I don’t bother with one, just have a Sunderland gortex bucket hat to keep my head dry. H2NO cart bag keeps the gear bone dry.:)

Whatever the brand name is, try to find out where the factory is that it came from.
Are you buying a Turkish, Indonesian or Chinese one?
Which country or factory (not brand) makes the best golf brolleys?

Surely when it came from its more important.

My newest one is the black Ping one at the back. About 20 years old.
All the others are much older than that. All in good working order.
I've heard people say that a lot of new brollies are crap. I have no experience.
