TV Ads.....favourite and least favourite???

The "bounce ball" ad from Sony for their new range of TVs. Amazing still today, 15 years later.

Worst? Too many, but in general it makes me giggle that there doesn't seem to be many straight couples in today's society if you were to believe the ad makers.

Brilliant song (albeit a cover itself) from the even more brilliantly named Swedish musician Jose Gonzalez. The rest of his album (Veneer) is pretty good too.

Loads of great ads but Phil nails it for me, the "Bruce Lee Bear" John West ad kills me every time.

So many bad ads though, Anything that's a combination of wooden, insincere and cheesy is a wrong un (so basically any "after life" policy plan, secured finance or insurance ads)/

As a fellow Swede, I agree regarding the song, even though I’m not to keen on the rest of the album. The song is actually a cover of another Swedish band - The Knife. :)

...
Old ads were great, not that level of imagination and humour around anymore
Best ad I remember was this one. I used to play tennis with one of the guys from the agency that produced it.

There was also a series of ads for Toyota HiLux involving Barry Crump (Bushman turned Author/Philosopher) and Scotty (Lloyd Scott, a Radio 1 DJ) that were great also.
And this one's a pretty good continuation of Toyota's approach to ads! https://www.nzonscreen.com/title/bugger-toyota-hilux-commercial-1999

Any beer advert from the 90s really. A golden age!

This one for Ben & Holly really tickled me. It's a children's show for under 5's but my kids never understood why I found it so funny.

Never understood the love for Turkish delight. Probably the only Cadbury product I can’t eat. (Apart from the short lived Anthea Turner bar from early 2000s)
Totally in agreement with that, as a child I used to describe it as "eating perfume" - disgusting!
