My pro says the towel under the arms drill is just as effective
Try £65.I've given in after a few times of hearing the name of this thing and I finally googled to see what it is... It's a big strap with a little strap attached? And it's about a hundred quid? Christ
Similar...but not the same. The difference is that the TRS product allows some freedom of movement of the trail arm and doesnt lock it in place. You cannot complete a proper follow through if your upper right arm is locked in place...no amount of body turn will help.I'm pretty sure this is the same thing for £30.

You probably saw the standard website which automatically offers you 2 for £105 i think it is.Sorry, yes, I saw 100 dollars i think
So the extra 20 quid gets you a little plastic loop?
Its not elastic....its effectively car seatbelt material.I'd never pay 60 quid for a giant elastic band, and I won't be spending 30 quid on the lesser one either now that I now it doesn't operate the same way - so cheers, that has saved me some money.![]()
That’s a great point and essentially why I’ve finally got around to buying one. People will spend hundreds on a new driver thinking it’ll fix their slice and constantly tinkering with their swings. But £65 for a training aid “nope that’s expensive”. If it helps to reduce or even maintain a handicap for a year then it’s earned it’s money and then some. Its not elastic....its effectively car seatbelt material.
However....you raise an interesting point that many folk will have wildly differing views on....when does the value of a product become more than just the cost of the materials used to make it? ...and how much extra should that value be?...and at what stage does that product show its true value.
If you used (someone loaned you one) the TRS for 6 months and at the end of the period you'd knocked 2 or 3 shots off your handicap, would you perceive its value differently?...would you then go out and buy one?
If I come back in 6 months time and say that I've lost 2 or 3 shots off my handicap, my ball striking has improved immensely and I'm now hitting a soft draw when previously I'd hit a baby fade....would you potentially think differently?
Just ordered one of these to use every day when doing drills and to use at the start of every practice session.
I’ve always used the towel drill but recently just doesn’t feel comfortable keeping the towel pinned under my left arm and I’ve always had a tendency to get the right arm disconnected at the top. So hopefully this sorts that rubbish move out

Also found a discount code: MILO10

Thanks @Lucifer MorningStar @AmandaJR - I tried to order from here last week and there was no stock.
Also used the code which covered the postage![]()
You’re both very welcome. I just asked Googled for a code and I’ve no idea who Milo is but he’s done us all favour,Ooh thanks for the code. I'll pass onto my hubby. I don't play anymore but he will 100% benefit from this!
I ordered mine through TRS using the discount code from Rick Shiels, which gives you 10 discount (it seesm they all do), it came from what looks like China, with a week to arrive.Where did you order from, I haven’t managed to find any in stock?
I'm a 43" chest and bought a Large (42-50")....there is a lot of scope for adjustment...I can adjust it a lot shorter than its quoted 42" minimum (I reckon I could get it to fit someone with a 30" chest but there would be a lot of loose strap flapping around)....and a little bit longer than the 50" maximum..What's the sizing like, I'm 36 so bang in-between S & M
My thoughts and I was also mightily annoyed by this. On reciept of order the reply was it is being picked and shipped to you. Then the tracking number is outside the UK and heard nothing for 5 days.On a side note. Made in china, shipped from china, I bet RR makes more from this than he did as a pro golfer. Fair play!
