TRS Slider

Mine arrived today, ordered the S as I'm a 36 in chest and it so tight I can't get it around the chest , but it will sit under the armpits, just.

I did try swinging ( without a club) and I'm sure it's not meant to feel like that so I'll have to send it back for a M.
☹️

Mine arrived this morning, haven’t tried it out yet but considering the injury I’ve picked up since ordering it, it may not get much use. I’ll try a few dry swings tomorrow and Friday and see what happens.

Few swings in the garden this week has confirmed my thoughts, dreading tomorrow on the range !!!

Thoughts confirmed further.. shocking, More work needed but it’s clearly highlighting one of the faults. Generally short punchy swings have always been ok and reliable in my game and they remained the same using the TRS, where it become a car crash was anything more than 3/4 swings, it makes sense as these are also the shots that lose consistency on the course especially with strike.

Once I tried to get the feeling of the arm sliding across the strap it become more consistent but I’m not sure if that’s counter productive to what I’ve been working on recently.

Going to take it to my next lesson and discuss the use with my pro.

Anyway… despite having mine over a week have only just got it out the packaging. First thoughts are it is well made, glad I sized up as got plenty of room and not overly tight and the little pouch it comes in is a nice touch.

Tried a few swings it and my god it is gonna take some work. Can really feel how much more connect it is compared to my own swing. Think it’s gonna be 15mins a day in the house and maybe 1 or 2 if I can manage it sessions at the practice ground.

I found half punchy swings was an easier way to get used to it.

Popped down the practice first thing and found the same short punchy showings really got the connected feeling. First few swings after removing it I was all over the place, so made sure every shot had 2 pace swings one for trying to emulate the feel and another for rhythm. Then hit some wonderful shots felt a lot more compact and controllable. But it’s definitely going to take regular use and practice to nail it but I can already see it’s going to work well.
