Trolley ban

I would be happy to see an end to motor trollies with the exception of special circumstance permissions. Ive never witnessed so much ground damage when ground is wet since those things came along, forget the fancy pimp my trolley wheels... get rid of the bloody things

Apart from greens, a golf course is just grass and should be easily managed by competent staff and sensible unselfish golfers. Use what you want in moderation I say but stop taking your motor toy out when its wet!

At my course electric trollies are banned when the ground is too wet, which I think is fair.

But I'm bound to be for them, just had a gokart for my birthday

As an engineer I would agree with that…..but, I think it’s about traction rather than flatten the grass with the standard wheels especially when it’s frosty or really wet.

Makes sense tommo, I guess the wheels dont spin as much so dont leave the skid marks.
