Played in the TT last Thursday at Goodwood. Unfortunately didn't play well enough and failed to qualify with 26 points off 3/4 H/C.
Having said that, loads of others were struggling as well, (apart from one guy who had 21 after 9 which off 3/4 on a hard course is some going!! :o )

Not sure what won and what the qualifying score was as we had to leave for Ireland straight after...don't think 26 was too far off though.

As I was the very first one off and got the best score in our 3 ball, I was leading in the clubhouse for a while..... :D :D

Played with a couple of nice guys, one off 4 and the other off 8 and we had a good laugh together.

Huge thanks to Murph for caddying....he did a great job......mostly.... :D :D

I've already entered for next year where I hope to do better..

Murph looked good though. He looked very....erm, American which sort of suited him........ :o
 
looks very much like you werent far off the mark Rick, unlucky. looks like a great event though.

maybe one day when my h/c is a lot better I may well partake in it :) (obviously with better colour co-ordination haha)
 
Looks a well organised event, sky sports there also?
Need to look into this TT, is it compulsory to wear the hat?
 
Did they not have a hat that fitted better or were you on the separate 'Stetson Tour'? ;)

lol....I've got a bit of a pin head....they didn't have any small hats. That one was the only one that didn't fall off when I bent over!!

G1BBO....gear is OK. It's usually for sale at 1/2 price on the William Hunt website so you can pick up a shirt for £45 and trousers for £75......what size are you? I've got a spare pair of trousers and a top you can have....I'll bring them up to your range and you can have them for the price of a bucket of range balls.... :D
 
30/32 waist 32 leg, medium top :)

am in the process of saving some sheckles as got my eye on them VR wedges... miss my 60 deg sv and not getting any love from my vokeys :P (they may well end up in the for sale section folks)
 
Well done Rick.

I played in the TT a few weeks ago at Foxhills. Struck the ball well, putted poorly, 24 pts of 8 hcap. Out in 9! and back in 15.

Its a different game under those conditions isnt it? I was extremely nervous especially on the first tee!!!

I played with the eventual winner on the day who played off 1!

Entered again next year and next time will choose a wide open course!!!

Its even worse when Sky decide to interview you on the tee box in front of 25 people! No wonder I sliced my 4 iron into OB... :(
