Ok, another lesson thread.
What's the toughest change you've made in your swing. The thing that has drove\driven you insane trying to get it right ?
AND, What finally made it click for you (if it ever actually did) ?
Mine is weight transfer. I've always had problems shifting my weight forward in the down swing which results in me hitting a lot off my back foot. Losing power, fats, thins, slice etc.
I've been working on it for the past couple of months with my pro and tried all sorts of drills etc to try to get it to stick. You'd think it would be easy, take the club to the top of the back swing, shift your weight to the left and start the down swing. Oh no, I just couldn't do it. Not even in slow practice swings !!!
I've only literally this week been able to do it consistently (well do it more than not), but of course now it's completely messed up my timing.
My pro said that my other method was so ingrained that it could take 6 months for me to get this to feel natural.
