There is a story coming out that three coppers were apparently filmed beating someone up. They need to be identified and fast.

And given a medal. And then the film made into training for all the other police who are having to put up with god knows what being thrown at them.

Sorry for the liberals in the audience but as someone else put on this forum, your human rights go out the window when you wrap a scarf round your face and start chucking bricks at the police.

Yes, bad example I'm afraid.

I was in London during these riots - why? Because I, too, was at work.

I knew where the riots were so I avoided them. Why? Because I value my life and I didn't want to get involved.

Ian Tomlinson could have avoided the riots if he'd so wished. Instead, he chose to walk straight through the middle of it. The police then asked him to avoid the area - which they're entitled to do. He refused so they pushed him - I'd have done the same if I'd been a Policeman in the middle of a riot.

Once again, the Police's fault even though they tried to get him to move along.
