1. Top Gun

4. Shawshank Redemption
5. No idea.

Here's mine. If you get the first one wrong then you might as well go home.
1. because he's not a hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector.
2. You're going to need a bigger boat.
3. Can you get a mob together? After what happened to Luther, I don't think I can get more than two, three hundred guys
4. Don't let yourself get attached to anything you are not willing to walk out on in 30 seconds flat
5. A friend should always underestimate your virtues and an enemy overestimate your faults

Top Gun
A Few Good Men
Crocodile Dundee

The wobbly one was Top Gun.

Gutted I didn't get The Magnificent Seven, my favourite film of all time.

Don’t beat yourself up, it’s the Denzel Washington and Chris Pratt remake, I suspect you’re more a Yul Bruner and Steve McQueen man.

That makes me feel so much better. I was okay with the Denzel nd Chris version but Yul and Steve will always be my men (please no one bore on about the Japanese original)

1. See, my mule don't like people laughing...
2. Sicilians are great liars. The best in the world. I'm Sicilian. My father was the world heavy-weight champion of Sicilian liars.
3. Don't cry, little one. Don't cry. I'll be with you in the songs they sing in the longhouses. And then when you're older and you have children, well, you'll sing the songs to them.
4. Have you ever been convicted of a felony or a misdemeanor? That's robbery, rape, car theft, that sort of thing? Convicted? No.
5. Don't be ridiculous, Charles died 20 years ago!

This has been doing the rounds in our office. You list your all-time five favourite films but instead of giving the title, put a quote from the film. Other people then have to try and guess the five before putting their own. Just a bit of fun.

Here goes mine:-

1. "It's time to buzz the tower."
2. "Now go do that voodoo that you do."
3. "I think the groom might be having second thoughts."
4. "I see you two all the time, you're thick as thieves."
5. "You may not have noticed and judging by attendances, you haven't."

I got numbers 1, 2 & 4 - no clue on the others

1 - Leave the gun. Take the cannoli
2 - To deny our own impulses is to deny the very thing that makes us human
3 - Scientists are saying the future is going to be far more futuristic than they originally predicted.
4 - My father's name was Antonio Andolini... and this is for you
5 - Liebchen - sweetness heart, what watch?

It's "Silent Movie". Mel Brooks made the film using 1920s story boards and subtitles. In the plot, they phone the world famous mime artist Marcel Marceau to ask him to be in their film. He replies with "Non" the only spoken word said in the film. The gag is that Brooks and Dom DeLuise don't know what he said as they don't speak French.
