Top 100 courses

The Brabazon is rated above Worplesdon, Portstewart, Hankley, Woburn Marquess, Machrihanish Dunes, Little Aston etc etc.

The Brabazon isn't even the best golf course at The Belfry, and would barely make my top 500 in Britain and Ireland

Always shocked by some of the Hampshire course ratings, maybe my opinion of those was on a bad day for the course. I must make an effort to play them again in their best conditions.

Good to see hayling, blackmoor, and north hants up top though ... easily my favourite courses played.

mine is 17th in england and 43rd in the UK, hasn't moved in the rankings, and probably the only course i've played in the top 100

i need to get out more

If I was a member at your place, I wouldn't worry about playing too many other courses. Hoping to play B & B on the way down to St Enodoc in the Autumn.

As Rich said, I wouldn't worry too much about getting out more. Since being alerted to how close Burnham is to me, I'm hoping to get down to play it some time soon. Looks like a fantastic track.

interesting, just noticed teh addington has gone up from 52 to 30, i knew the work they had done had made a big improvement, good to see them get the recognition. going to be even better when they get the new planned club house.

I'll hold you to that! Would definitely like to get down there so hopefully we can get something arranged!

you'd be welcome,
perhaps come down when the clocks go forward, and the weather is a bit better,
sundays is normally best as there aren't any competitions

pm me nearer the time if your up for it

Will do mate. Sunday's are usually football training, but I would happily miss a week! As you say, when the weather picks up and the clocks go forward.
