I am really settling into my new club now and really enjoying the course.

Scored the best round I have ever scored today - 87, this included a birdie at the par5 9th which was my first birdie at my new club.

Can't wait to get out again already.

I haven't had much time for pratice unfortunately and had to abandon the driver due to a shocking slice that has creeped it. Going to have a lesson to sort it. Fortunately I hit a good 3w so the driver wasn't a loss.

Im still looking for a decent golf club that's not full of plonkers of trying to rip me off at every chance.

Excelent news MWJ, glad you're still delighted with your new club.

One of the best aspects of being a club golfer is the knowledge that you "belong" somewhere with the ability to use all the facilities available.
The good thing about it is that you can nip over and do a few holes just to get your fix!
