To Book or Not to Book........

Haven't read all the posts, no time........:smirk:

Leads nicely to why I MUST have a booked time! When I was young and no responsibilities then a wait was ok, now if I arrived to find a 1 hr wait or longer I would not be happy.

I plan my golf visit to include 45 mins per round practice so it all needs planned, including the journey home time, that's just the way life is these days.

For me there is no real answer to the situation. Lets say that I have to be on the course 9.00 on a Saturday then there are issues with both systems. If there is tee booking and I cannot get a time as times between 8 and 9 are busy then I do not get to play at all. If there is no tee booking system then I have the option to turn up early knowing that a queue of more than half an hour is unusual. I have to get up early and potentially wait but at least I get a game (ok queue could hold me up until it is too late but never seen that).

To be honest, the queing is not an issue. Alot of people say they like some practice time and we have practice nets, putting green and chipping green next to the first tee so most groups put there bags in the queue and then head off to practice until i is their turn.
