Today i bought a Titleist S83 Tour bag because im sick of my clubs banging together and my getting tired due to carrying it all the way round due to having about everything in my bag part from kitchen sink ( Waterproof's, spare balls, phone, drinks, snacks ect ) so thought tour bag was needed and found this titleist 1 as it same make as me clubs and looks sexy i thought!

I also noticed the pro's use the s82 ( 10.5" ) and the S83 ( 9.5" ) But while looking at some pics i also noticed they had there name on thiers.

Reading abit more into this and searching many hours later some people say they had removable part where you can have your name embroidered onto the leather or whatever which i wouldnt mind paying extra to have it done some where if it is possible.

Anyway the whole point of this post is i was just wondering if anybody out there nows anything about this and can help me because basically all i want to know is if i can have this done lol

Many thanks :D

Also forgot to mention i bought a trolley a pull 1 to use this not like im going to carry this round the course lol

Thanks for the help if so

Slightly poncey is it not?

Perhaps it's just me but id have a chuckle under my breath whilst thinking "what a ........." if i saw anyone with their name emboidered onto their bag.

Unless of course you have a mild case of amnesia... :D

with most bags the removeable panel is at the front, possibly with yours the panel with Titleist on it (the zip will go all the way round)

it would guess that to get a new panel, embroidered as you want, will mean contacting Titleist and will be expensive.

I see that the sites selling them don't mention it.

I really dont think embroidering your name on your bag would be a good idea at all, however cool it looks for the Pro's.
You would come across to everyone as a bit of a 'tool' imo, so by all means, get a bag, but just fill it and use it and leave the embroidering to those that can get away with it.

I've got the same bag mate and it its the beez neez. I thought about getting my name on it but shouts of Billy Big Time and total tool put me of. Keep your self nice mate and leave it the way it is.

Im sure someone local will be able to embroider something on the bag for you. I'd say go for it- provided you have the game to pull it off. If your off anything more than scratch, forget it :D

Didn't it used to be against the rules to have your name on your bag unless you were pro? Could be totally my imagination but I'm sure I read that somewhere sometime...

I had my name on my bag years ago as an assistant whn Slazenger gave me some gear for a year. As I was young all the juniors were envious and all the adults just thought I was flash but in those days I had the game to back it up.

Medwayjon had his name on the bag so you could always ask him where he got it from and I would never call him poncey, at least not in earshot!!!!!
