Hola all

Was at the golf club today and was browsing around the shop and came across these little gems, strongly considering buying them, they are second hand but in great condition with the usual small markings you would expect to see on a set of forged irons but I haven't had a knock about yet as I had a tee time booked. they are asking for 350 for them 3-PW.

I was just wondering if anyone has/had them or had ago with them and want to know what they thought, and would like to know what you think about the asking price, Im thinking about asking for 280 for them all? what do you guys think?

Thanks in advance.

Tobyamu

Mate of mine has just bought a set brand new for 450 plus his old irons part ex from American golf! They were on sale for 650 I think? He's used them a few times since and although he's still getting used to them his impressions so far are that they are really good, and that they seem to suit him. That's the key I suppose, you'll have to try them and see how they feel for you first! You don't say how old they are, but if they are 650 new and you can get them for 350 it don't seem too bad??

Toby.....they're a great club and worth the money, but regardless of the RRP, most pros around here are doing them for £449. Doesn't seem so good put like that.....

Then again, it depends on the shafts and how many irons etc.

One q? though.....are these the model for the "any" standard or the one for the "skilled" player....I get confused.

AP2's are the "Players" club
AP1's are the "normal" club - a little bigger
In the same way that X-20 Tour's to X-20 or Burner tour's to Burners

Tobyamu, I play with these clubs, got them custom fitted and find that they are a joy to play with. My only question to you would be, what is your handicap or more to the point skill level as they are not "that" easy to hit well on a consistent basis unless you have a decently well grooved swing. Price wise, I paid £550 for a set custom fitted and that included the optional SW, therefore, your deal, as long as they suit you, seems pretty good.

I got mine a year ago and love them, wouldnt change them for anything. Try them first though, they look excellent but make sure they are beneficial to your game.

Just make sure they have the right shaft in for you 5.o & 5.5 are regular anything above that is stiff.

well if they are anything like the AP1s id buy them.

Which they are not.... :D

Both my local course pros are Titleist reps. They are selling AP irons like hot cakes.

Only thing though......the only people playing with the AP2s are off big time low h'caps. Everyone else is using the more G.I. model.
