titleist 913 to ping g10 is it a step back

I don't subscribe to the "straighter" part. how can a club make a poor swing go straight? defying physics?

Because he hasn't parted with his money yet, all clubs go straight until you pay for them

Today i had a round with a friend who was selling a ping g10 10.5 proforce v2 shaft stiff. I said that i would give it a good as i have hit it before and enjoyed it, well all i can say is longer straighter than my 913. im seriously thinking of getting it off him or is it a step back?? i hit the 913 very well but the g10 is a lot longer, another friend of mine that plays off 6 uses a g10 same spec and has bought a second as a spare because its so good

I have that very Ping driver set up you used and it works great for me, step backwards no way, this games hard enough and if it works use it!

I'm still tempted to go back to a G5 as its probably the most consistent driver I've ever owned.

Plenty of people I've come across still play the G10, very good club

very true, but its an ego thing i think i got a 913 and covert but the g10 out performs them both, i hit a terrible strike today with the g10 and it went straight and high and 20 yards shorter than normal i would except that all day.

Thought the covert was for a mate....
