Just bought said club on Friday and played all over the weekend.Had it set up for a draw but almost every shot I hit was sliced. Was almost ready to throw the towel in.

Was tinkering about with the settings out on the course tonight and though I'd set it for a fade just for a laugh and at 8.75 loft, and guess what - every one split the fairway.

How can this be so?

As said above it will most likely have something to do with your swingpath.

Did you used to slice the driver you had before aswell?

This is why I'm still not buying into the whole adjustable driver.

My swing is variable enough in terms of results at the very least with a fixed driver. I can pull, slice, fade and occasionally I hit one straight and true.

Now, if I go for an adjustable driver I'll be messing with it every week!

I think I'm best getting a driver that fixed and learning to strike it reasonable consistently.

But then when you have a reasonably consistent swing, you can make the most of being able to adjust it.

I've found conflicting opinions around different sites. I was looking because I had issues similar to you and thought I must be going mad.
To me, it looks more closed with it adjusted open, and vice versa. I was also hitting draws with it open and straight with it closed.
I've ended up changing my address so that the face looks square (with it set open) and I'm hitting it well.

One chart I found suggested that what is actually happening when you adjust it open/closed is that the lie angle is being altered.

Make of that what you will.

I thought the point of the Titleist adjustable tech is that you could open/close without adjusting the lie angle?

You can open and close without changing the loft angle, duno about the lie angle. You can also change the left angle independently..(I better add I think to this statment as its pre coffee)
