I have my own way of not losing my gps unit as I don't trust the clamp system so brought a small tripod clamp which is spring loaded, I pull the leaver to take it off and when I replace it the clamp springs back into place to lock.

Do you not worry about leaving the odd club lying around? You could tie these to your bag too.

Each one could have thirty yards of elastic, stuck inside the shaft. You could rotate the grip to wind it all back in.

That'll be £15 then please. Licence fee. LOL.

Used it a couple of times already this week and I have to say I'm feeling a lot more relaxed with it.

What are there "elastic bands" you speak of? I use a rubber flexi-circle. Totally different thing so I think you'll find there's no payment required.

Sorry patented that as well, so if I don't get my fiver in the next couple of days I will have to put it into the hands of my global lawyers
