Tiger Woods - WGC Bridgestone

I only caught bits of it, but from what I heard of the conversation with his caddie it sounded like he was trying to put his 2nd on 18 into the gallery to the right of the green!

Did I misunderstand?

He said the gallery or Grandstand wasn't a bad play. Don't think he was trying to put it there, just that he was saying if that's where it went it wasn't a bad miss.

As perfect 17 holes of golf as you are ever likely to see. Tee shots, irons, putts all superb. The accuracy of his approaches was incredible. Then we see the other Tiger at 18. The scrambler. How did he make a 4?

At his best he has the ability that great players in any sport have of making very good players look very ordinary.

Why do people wave things in his face to sign as he's walking between holes!!! They know he won't sign it and he shouldn't mid round.

5 birdies & 7 pars, what an amazing comeback & round for Charl Schwartzel. Looked dead & buried with +8 but is -5 today with 6 to play.

There are others playing and having excellent rounds without any bogeys

One of the best swings out there and he should win more... I like Charl though.

just turned the WGC on and WOW, the Tiger ahead by 8 shots............different league:whoo:

I bet the tiger bashes are sitting there with faces like this now...

Why, I'm far from a basher but he's only been OK today at -2 when others have been and are -5's & -6. His exceptional round yesterday has made the only real difference.

Excellent round of 64 for Charl Schwartzel. Bogey free with 6 birdies and 12 par's.

Clearly the round of the day and non-existence coverage!

To be fair to Tiger he doesn't need to chase birdies, he done the hard work yesterday.

Those others may have shot 65 today but I'm pretty certain their game plan changed after Tiger's exceptional round yesterday.

I meant because he is destroying a field that consists of 48 of the top 50

The haters normally have something to hang on to like a weak field or whatever crap they come up with.

Change the record mate. Every thread it's tiger haters this, tiger haters that. It's predictable.
And no, I am not a tiger hater, at all.

Excellent round but he's still on +2 and 17 (seventeen) shots off the lead, that's why he's had little or no coverage.

So if Tiger had been level par on round 2 and Charl was having his 64 that day, do you honestly believe the coverage wouldn't have still followed Tiger more

It was the round of the day, no finishing hole coverage, no interview and yet, the Mechanic did and he shot 1 less!
