"these guys" are only there because tiger has had a two year sabbatical ......not to detract from their obvious talents and in a ryder cup senario a formidable bunch (here's hoping come this September). But facing tiger in full swing on the last day in a major or any comp for that matter they have no chance......until they prove otherwise....again & again....like tiger has over the last 15 years.
The stats don't lie.

Tiger only wins from the front,he will have he`s work cut out to get away from these guys.........

For someone who is so obviously obsessed by stats..view your bag.....you need to look at the real stats at hand. Yes tiger is great at winning from the front, only because he puts himself in that position. He also adds some real passion to the game, something Donald & westwood could never be accused of. Mcilroy is an exciting talent but still has a lot to prove when pegged against the likes of tiger et al.

Did you make this stat up?

He didn't even play well enough to get into the FedEx last year and im certain he missed the cut at the last USPGA, he was T15 at Pebble beach a few weeks ago, T17 at the WGC Matchplay just after?

That's me not even tryin hard to look for results

Like at The Honda Classic when Tiger chased him, like at the Emirates when Tiger was 3rd behind McIlroy and Rock. McIlroy has the temperament to keep the tiger on a leash

Donald is simply not a winner; He has four career stroke play victories on the PGA tour. All of them small events and you're trying to compare him to Tiger Woods?

You can only compare them as golfers at the present time. Rory was about seven when Tiger started winning in the late 90's. When they stand on the first tee at Augusta in a couple of weeks I think they compare pretty well, and so do the bookies.;)

Come back? He's been back since Sept 2011.

Im not a gambler but if your so keen why don't you donate £100 to Leukaemia Research if McIlroy finishes higher than Woods at Augusta

I agree, 1 major doesn't make you a world beater but over the last 6 months there is no one out there to touch McIlroy in terms of form, I believe McIlroy is the real deal and will only get better.

It's unfair to compare McIlroy to Tiger now in terms of performances given Tiger has played probably in excess of 50 or 60 majors and McIlroy probably no more than 16.
