This thread has made me chuckle, haha. :D

All this comotion because Tiger banged a club on the deck.

Hey, I bang my club on the deck all the time, before I tee off though, its not in anger, I just do it. And I notice alot of the guys on tour do it too, I think even rick (Doh) does it as he is teeing up.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE?

Anyway, I cant even see the bloomin golf cause Veetle is playing up!

Like my hearing in the bar, my eyesight is also selective in the forum.

How about donating half your wages for today to an old mans' golf ball fund, these Rextars are starting to go out of shape :(

No problem Minty, i'm watching to see if another tantrum is thrown........or is it just a club slap.

Problem is, i'm not at work tomorrow, i'm on the golf course so tiger could use his wedge to trim mcilroys hair for all i care... not sure what that means but i've had a beer so i'll type it.

I used to play the odd rextar, if I remember rightly they weren't too bad.

Along with Kasco 88s and Kasco rockets (the first 4 piece ball).

Lets not forget its not just Tiger and Monty. Who remembers all the fuss when Sergio kicked out at the World Matchplay. Mickleson was censured for swearing within range of an on course mike. It happens.

I have been known to throw a club in my youth. I wasn't proud and it is something I got out of very quickly. However I have been known to "do a Tiger" and bash the ground after an errant tee shot. I have partners that regularly do it and I don't have a problem with it. I'd rather a 2 second reaction than listening to them swar and curse all the way to where the ball finished.

It isn't crime of the century and certainly preferable to some of modern golfers other crimes (spitting, slow play etc). I agree youngsters will see Tiger as a role model and copy his every move int he same way that you see 8 year old kids going down like Ronaldo in the local junior league on a Sunday. However they will also be inspired by Tigers talent and want to emulate that as well and we need all the young blood we can get into the game.

There's no doubt Woods is meida savvy and hasn't got the common touch of a Darren Clarke or Boo Weekly but there is so much focus on him both on and off the course that he knows he has to present a "commercial" persona at all times. I'm sure if you rattled up to one of his corporate days or caught him at Lake Nona playing a few holes he'd be a different guy to the one we see. However he knows he has to play a role and he does it to perfection.

Caddy slapping sounds fun and for 10% of the earnings i bet a fair few people would still put their name forward. Would Jeev Milkha Singh have to get a male caddy? Surely he couldnt slap a women about on the course? thats not in the ettiquette.

Bob you'd also have to put us in our place in the bar when we start mis-behaving after our secondd pint of beer

second? I thought it was sniffing wine gums that did it :p

One was very very pleasing on the eye. Cutest bum I've seen in 2009 and I may be mistaken but I'm 95% certain she was in a pair of stockings under her dress. Professional - moi?

Homer, if you were recruiting for me and made a comment like that, I would fire you.
Obviously the NHS is not as PC as I thought it might be.

I Agree,Tiger is back complete with Tantrum,Spitting and knocking the ball all over the course, the knee seems to be as good as new same old bad swing on occasions, also the Sky team are I think back on his Pay Roll/PR Team.
