Ha ha ha! Max isn't your average Lab and very suspicious of actual food you hand to him if he's not had it before. Apart from sheep poo that is! Bonnie however ate anything and once a bargain very big bag of fish food. She looked like she might pop and eventually kind of did!

Monty [yes after the golfer with stuborn obstinate ways] thinks sheep droppings are proper dog food.
He once found a pheasant carcas by the river and would not give it up. He edged away mid-stream with the skeleton of the body in his mouth and two wings sticking out each side.
After a stand off he decided to crunch the bones which resulted in the wings going up and down as if the dead bird was flying.
