Thomas Bjorn...

Did anyone else see the incident with Thomas Bjorn earlier today? On the 18th his tee shot went into the trees. He tried to play his second shot through the trees but hit a lamp post type thing and his ball bounced further back then where it started. He carried on and ended up with a 6. The next group were then playing the hole and Bjorn turned up to replay his "2nd" shot as the local rule is that if you hit a lamp post thingy you replay your shot. So he had to take a 2 shot penalty for playing his ball from the wrong place and replay the hole from where he played his original 2nd shot. He ended up with a 6 again anyway but I've never seen anything like that before.

Yeah heard about this weird ruling, i thought he'd have just taken the 6 in the first place, bit weird never seen it before... main question is why a lampost on a golf course lol

i seen that but missed some of it because i was rushing about.............

i haven't seen any lamposts on any courses i've played but i'm glad after what happened to thomas bjorn lol!!!
