I'm thinking of trying a truvis ball, the ones which have the football print on them. Has anyone used them?
what are peoples thoughts on them?
They are quite pricey, to get a dozen ad333's with the print on and delivery charge its about £35, so I was just wondering if any of you guys have used them?

thanks
Ade

They recon that the balls are better to look down on, better vision etc. I don't know all the science word for word but it makes sense to me. Was thinking I could mark my balls myself and does anyone know if its as effective?
I just wanted peoples thoughts/ideas really?
The price has put me off to be honest but it could be a bargain for better golf!

I think I might get some just because they look interesting and a bit different. The marketing babble seems somewhat far-fetched to me though...

Yeh it does seem far fetched but worth a try I recon. Its not a huge expense compared to say a new driver/putter etc.

I did mark one up myself. Used it to annoy Leftie and Pieman. It didn't really stand out in the leaves, didn't wear well, and can't really see it made any difference. I won like ususal.

One of my friends bought a load. First hit, first time out, off the first tee, big block into the woods never to be seen again. Well worth the money.

I've played with some one who used the. They were easier to see, but that didn't help when he kept hitting them in the gorse. :D

Yip

that "someone" who hit them in the gorse all the time, yip, that same "someone" also happen to have a set of Mizuno bats and that same "someone" who I played with at Spey Valley by chance????

:D

No not me, funny enough it was a guy thats a member a Kings Acre. He's one of my mates step sons. He came up in November and wanted to play at Tain as he'd never played it. He lost quite a few, but was playing off 23. Then we played the next day at fortrose and the bugger shot about 70 gross and won the money. i was only one or 2 over gross but still got beat.
:D
Anyway you lost more balls than me around SV :D

Yup, I bought some. I do have to say that it does what it says on the tin.
I was suffering a bit with fatting my chips, I noticed a remarkable improvement. (Placebo? Dunno might be)
One thing I can say is that the pattern does wear off rather quickly.
and the second thing was the price, since Ad333 can be picked up for between 15-20 quid, the cost at 35 quid was just way too expensive.
haven't bought any since, as my chipping has improved purely by practice.
If a major manufacturer added some tru-vis as part of their range I would definitely buy some again.

Aye ok!

You win but how good was my 3 wood onto the last, knocked the stuffing out of them Patrick!

Oooft career shot!

Yep was great shot, but i only saw the result as i was more worried that i couldn't feel my hand after blading that 4 iron

That game has to be one of the great comebacks in golf, what were we 5 or 6 down?

Not really too keen on them. Tried one I found but hated it on the putting green and it just looked wrong as it rolled off the putter. The fact that it hasn't taken off in the pro game may hint at the fact that it's a fad and £35 for AD333's is frankly ridiculous.
