Lots of things but next up that is a bit different is panto day. We've been going for years, before kids, with kids, with kids who are now adults 
. We are booked into a Thai beforehand, lunchtime menu, panto at the Theatre Royal, Newcastle, walk around Newcastle after seeing the Christmas lights, displays, then home for a snack tea (all the nibbles that you get that cook for 10 mins in the oven 
) Just a great, happy, day.

We go to the Christmas lights at Dunham Forest.

Used to watch that every year with my Nan, loved it.
@ColchesterFC that's what my wife calls it . We also call it a 'rubbish tea' as nothing in it is healthy, but in the words of Barry Davies, 'who cares'

The team open at Porthcawl in February. It's nearly the end of the winter and we can hope for better weather. Its usually the first outing of the year too.

1st Sunday of Advent (3rd Dec) as Advent makes Christmas Day all the more special, plus Classic FM play loads of carols and other Christmas related classical and seasonal film music during December.
And our church Carol Service on 17th Dec. Being in our choir I really enjoy it and love that church will be full with many who don’t normally go to church but enjoy our Carol Service as part of their Christmas.

We have an ‘Orange Buffet’ on NYE.
We order all of the orange
coloured food from the Chinese and Indian takeaway and add things like scotch eggs, wotsits, pork pies, cheese.

Lamb "with the orange sauce" on a Sunday is a MASSIVE favourite. I cannot stress how much a favourite it is.
