Must be more helpful in your line of work to mine, I mean wearing glasses must get in the way on a hot summer's day?

How's the knee going

It's a slow process, but definitely improving, albeit very slowly.
It can take between 12 and 18 months to settle down, I'm currently 7 months in.
The swelling went after 6½ months!

Every dog you walk past will be cocking their leg on your arm now.
I remember when I did a paper round, for a month the same dog would wait for me on Rufford Ave and hump my leg. I was fed up to the back teeth it just would not leave me alone. So on a Sunday ( Sunday was big papers day) when it came for me for another hump I swung the bag as hard as I could. The dog went flying and left me alone. The following day it was waiting for me and I took the bag off my shoulder, it looked at me a thought sod that and never came near me again.
Maybe RichA needs a paper boys bag. 👍

RichA badly misses having a dog and actively seeks out their attention. Never had one try to hump me though.
Must be your pheromones.
Or something you're wearing. 😘

Ok first off, dog problems on Rufford ave, you should’ve seen that coming! :sneaky:
2nd it was probably something you wore that marked you out i.e any paperboy knows that dogs are attracted to gators… or is it crocs! 🤪

Drive through blood tests. I didn't know they existed until a couple of days ago.
I still had to wait 90 minutes for my number to come up but I was able to go away and grab some lunch then sit in the comfort of my car rather than a hospital waiting area.

Not too bad actually, lots of crisps, snacks, chocs etc but also got some Scotch pies and greggs sausage rolls, so no diet this week!

And the golf stuff I ordered won't go to waste either
🤮
If she'd picked up a West Cornwall Cornish Pastie Co Cornish pastie at the airport for you it would probably have just about cooled down enough to be edible by now.

In September, our flight back from Seville was delayed for about 4 hours so we put in a claim for compensation. EasyJet rejected this claim as they said the delay was due to Air traffic restrictions and therefore not their fault. Although we had been offloaded form the plane due to a technical fault with one of the engines, I didn't pursue the matter as we weren't out of pocket in anyway and the delay hadn't been very arduous. Today we got an email form EasyJet saying the delay was actually caused by a technical fault and we are now entitled to compensation, just resubmit the claim and we will sort it. I can only guess that someone challenged the original rejection and the CAA ruled in their favour so all claims now have to be settled.
