Now I am p*ssed off. I have now got the inconvenience of having to go to my Bank to withfraw cash as some sh*t has used my debit card details.

Fortunately I noticed today and only 4 small transactions had been made - thanks to Lloyds TSB for the quick acceptance that they were fraudulant and quick refund. I know that they have had a lot of bad press recently but they did everything I would have expected straight away.

Right that's it - moan over back to being a hard working law abiding citizen.

Happened to me a while back, My missus got a phone call asking if I was working away. When she said no the bank said someone in the U.S was happily spending money with my details. Forunately they stopped my card and refunded my money so it all worked out well. It's worrying though, how did they get my number? and Who out of the hundreds of places I used my card in stole my details. Makes you wonder.

That's what I can't figure out - my Mrs is so paranoid about it that we shred everything, and the card is never out of my sight. I even told someone who wanted to take it away to swipe it that I was going to accompany them.

Crafty sods though whoever they are.

The only time I can remember not using chip and pin was at a famous pub chain who will remain nameless but let's say it's how you eat soup The guy behind the bar asked me to sign for my drinks and meal. I will never say it was definately there but I will never use my card in there again.

Being in a cash - rich industry I try to use folding whenever possible.
Petrol stations are a favourite for "aquiring" card details.

A favourite in petrol stations is to have a camera concealed in the ceiling, they can then see you enter your pin number etc. Wise to cover the pad with your hand

These eastern Europeans are at it up here all the time skimming the Holes in the wall always cover the pad when taking cash out.

On the other hand buy clothes of the J Lindeberg website which is Swedish based everytime i use my Mastercard within 10 minutes of placing the order i get a phone call from Mastercard asking if was me making a purchase,good service that.
